Brave New Wood owner Dennis Hauth has over two decades of experience in woodworking, including six years as lead finisher at Simon, Toney, and Fischer, a prestigious Portland OR cabinet and furniture shop. A painter and sculptor, Dennis received his BFA from Portland’s Pacific Northwest College of Art, which included a year’s study at the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington, DC. Dennis, a third generation Oregonian, resides in NE Portland where he and his wife raised their children. He is an avid kayaker and gardener when not restoring furniture.
